Abstract
This article discusses several components of a training module for teaching neural computing to junior and senior high school students. The module is envisioned as one of a number of modules to be developed in the area of soft computing. Specifically the article discusses those components of the module which deal with defining an ANN, the biological basis, who is concerned with ANN, how an ANN operates and an example of perceptron learning using MS EXCEL spreadsheet calculations
