Abstract :
A simple and exactitude FDTD model is presented for cylindrical monopole antennas fed by coaxial transmission line. The model separates the feeding line from the antenna region in order to get a pure TEM incident wave, then coupling the incident wave into antenna region by the connective boundary. Result calculated by this model is in agreement with the reference measurements.
