Abstract :
This paper raises a method for indoor location by using WIFI wireless signals auxiliary for independent sensors localization to realize a continuous and seamless indoor localization. Independent sensors localization uses dead reckoning method mainly including three factors: step number, heading and step length. However, when a person walks, step length is a random variable. It is difficult to get accurate step length just relying on independent sensors. So, this paper puts forward to use WIFI wireless signals auxiliary positioning for online adjusting person´s step length. Also, WIFI wireless can aid for people´s position correction and wireless communication. Then, this method raised in this paper can realize a continuous, seamless and accurate indoor localization.
