Abstract
This investigation aims at evaluating the impact of interference and typical traffic statistics (a Poisson distribution is adopted) on PRMA performances and design, both in a conventional cellular environment and in microcellular environment. To this end, besides the dropping probability, an overload probability is introduced so achieving a complete measure of the effects of interference and traffic fluctuations
