Abstract :
Automatic placement technology is an advanced molding technology for composite materials developed in recent decades, which have been widely used in manufacturing process of high-performance composite materials. In this paper, we proposed a new placement method, i.e., the circumferential placement, which is appropriate for conical shell surface. The model of placement Iinetype was designed, which build the mathematical foundation for the movement locus of placement equipment. Using three-dimensional software, the placement path was simulated, and the results verified that this method is feasible for manufacturing process of high-performance composite materials.
