Abstract :
The authors describe a new type of self-organizing high-frequency (HF) data network called the HF/adaptive inter-node-connection network (HF/AIN). The operation of the network relies on the concept of path-frequency adaptation (PFA). Two algorithms for implementing the PFA by using distributed control techniques are presented. Computer simulations indicate that such a network has good survivability and offers superior self-organizing performances
