Abstract :
In this paper particle swarm optimization (PSO) is used for the design of optimized integrated spiral inductors. A modified compact equivalent circuit model has been developed based on measurement data taken from numerous spiral inductors of different structures. The proposed model gives a better fit over a wide frequency range.
