Abstract
Using a synthetic loading set up with a PWM source, the standard parameters of the induction machine are estimated from dynamic measurements. This utilizes an optimization algorithm to fit the Fourier spectrum of both measured currents and response from the state variable model excited by the measured voltage. Mechanical parameters are measured with the standard IEEE 112.
