Abstract :
The radiation patterns of a low (40 dB) sidelobe antenna have been measured on a variety of antenna test ranges including near field, far field and compact versions. Some of the early results are presented and the variations examined. The need for some form of range validation is shown. There is also some explanation of the fundamental effects of various ranges on results
