Abstract :
The inverse electrocardiographic problem is aimed at reconstructing epicardial potentials from body surface potential data, or reconstructing endocardial potentials from intracavitary potential data. Due to the ill-posed nature of the problem, regularization is employed to obtain stable, physical solutions. This report demonstrates the use of current density in the regularization of the inverse problem. It is concluded that use of current density provides a significant improvement in the inverse solution
