Abstract :
This paper will describe a new measuring method for human dirt in textile based on Laser induced fluorescence (LIF). Typical standard cloth was used as a sample and synthesized sweat and human lipid was used as model dirt on the standard cloth. LIF spectra were measured by a developed measuring system. Appropriate calibration models to obtain the concentration of the dirt elements were studied. This paper also describes the application of this method to estimate the real human dirt that includes sweat and lipid.
