Abstract
This paper contains a detailed analysis of the stability of limit cycle in the steady state for DC-DC converter circuits using energy based control. The existence of stable limit cycles in the boost converter is analyzed with a Poincare mapping. The Boost converter has always a stable limit cycle, this is proven analytically which could be done because the control method leads to elegant, almost natural, working modes. The system is simulated, and the stability results are verified.
