Abstract :
The introduction of the EC directive on EMC, 89/336/EEC, has a potential effect on nearly all manufacturers of electrical, electronic apparatus and systems. It will have wide ranging implications and repercussions for manufacturers from both a production and legal standpoint. This paper highlights areas of particular concern for manufacturers of large systems, and suggests possible solutions that they may adopt to ensure full compliance
