Abstract :
The impulse response of electrically large targets is studied using the numerical techniques based on frequency-domain (FD) integral equations. The time-domain (TD) results are obtained through the transformation from the original frequency-domain utilizing the inverse Fourier transform. With the multilevel fast multipole algorithm (MLFMA) acceleration, the time-domain results of an F-117 airplane are presented, and compared with a rigorous method-of-moments (MoM) solution.
