Abstract :
The fast accurate measurement is required in the wheelset inspection of train. In this paper, a new method, the partition sampling method, is proposed. The core of the method is that the data information, including radial and axial data of wheelsets is processed with real-time high-speed synchronous sampling and high-speed synchronous transmission in two separate sampling and control stations. The method is applied in an automatic wheelset inspection system of rail train. The high precision and long distance laser displacement sensor is used in the system. Many performances of the system have been achieved very well with the method.
