Abstract :
A simulation approach is used to determine channel capacity in the presence of chirp and crosstalk. Results show that over 100 stations, each operating at 2 Gb/s, can be accommodated by a dense WDM/WDMA (wavelength division multiplexed/wavelength division multiple access) system spanning 30 nm and centered at 1.55 μm
