  • Abstract
The deployment of the Ameritech´s intelligent network will have a significant impact on its operations support systems used in the provisioning of customer services. Traditionally, new customer services have always been switch-based and required only an evolution of operations systems in order to support the provisioning of the new services, since only one network element at a time was involved. However, intelligent network customer services will require the provisioning of multiple network elements in a controlled and coordinated manner. The operations support systems affected by the deployment of the intelligent network are identified and possible solutions to those effects are suggested
