Abstract :
With the evolution of the advanced intelligent network (AIN), the telecommunications industry has been thrust into a most complex transitional project. The author addresses certain steps that, if employed, would provide a framework on which the AIN could be based. He socializes the relationship between service logic and service data as they relate to service creation. A method to structure software for internodal interface in the AIN is suggested, through a well designed service management system (SMS) and the role it will probably assume
