Abstract :
Web data integration has overcome structural heterogeneities by using XML, but failed to overcome the semantic heterogeneities. To solve this problem, a architecture for ontology-based web data integration system is proposed. Then the infrastructure of Ontology, the mapping algorithm between Ontology and data sources, and semantic query are mainly discussed. To large extent, the semantic heterogeneity problem is overcome by using the proposed architecture.
