Abstract :
Indirect TCP is a method of breaking up a single end to end TCP connection using intermediate routers in between. In this paper, we discuss deployment of indirect TCP for a wireless network and using delay based flow control algorithms for the wireless leg to optimize performance over a wireless/satellite link TCP over wireless/satellite systems.
