Abstract :
The power electronics converter of large rating connected to a weak utility system generates notches in the synchronization voltage due to high current switching, which obscure the normal zero crossing of the signal leading to malfunction of the converter. This paper will demonstrate an application of wavelet transform in this area which is superior in many respects to the earlier methods.
