Abstract
We present in this paper a floating-point adaptive CORDIC algorithm that removes the main limitations of the standard algorithm: (a) Requires lesser number of iterations, (b) Has higher range (c) Applicable for fixed- or floating-point data. (d) Lower arithmetic noise. (e) Eliminates overhead of scaling operation. The proposed algorithm.
