Abstract :
The problem of calculating the currents in the MWNT antennas excited by an external electromagnetic field is considered. For the description of such field Lorentz - Maxwell average microscopic equations are used. Each element of the multilayered antenna is described with the help of the generalized functions concentrated on smooth surfaces. This representation provides a description of the behavior of currents in the antenna as a whole with only one differential equation. The coefficients of this equation are generalized functions. A method for obtaining the general solution of differential equations of this class is developed. The exact solution is obtained in explicit form. The final formulas permit to calculate the currents in each antenna element separately, and to establish a mutual influence on each other nanotubes.
