Abstract
In this paper, we analyzed the distribution of energy flow for dielectric waveguide introduced as defect layers composed of dielectric circular cylinder array with deformed rhombic dielectric structure along a middle layer and investigated the influence of rhombic dielectric structure compared with deformed rhombic dielectric structure by using the propagation constants at the guided area for both TE0 and TM0 modes.
