  • Abstract
    “Universal Personal Networking” (UPN) is understood as the ability to communicate and access personal information via global stationary and mobile networks. The goal of this paper is to sketch the concepts of UPN, followed by a description of a number of current research projects. A scenario is defined and advanced applications in future communication environments are described. The project range from end devices over applications like cooperative networking to the specific problems imposed by demanding user-friendly computing and communication
