Abstract :
This paper describes LSS-Decomposition as an effective method for polarimetric Doppler radar signals processing. Being based on the least square splines decomposition, the method makes it possible to evaluate the estimates of the decomposition coefficients. Reliability of the result is estimated via calculation of confidence intervals. Such approach of signal processing requires less of input data and possesses low SNR comparing with other methods.
