Abstract
A notion of systems of interacting finite deterministic automata is formulated via a newly proposed multi-agent (MA) product. The synchronous and simultaneous aspects of the MA product are examined in terms of language acceptance, and a new notion of non-simultaneous controllability is defined. A line of research for the hierarchical supervision of MA product systems is then proposed
