Abstract :
Probabilistic multi-hypothesis tracking is an approach to simultaneously associate measurements to their unknown origins and estimate the states of the originating objects. This paper discusses some aspects of using PMHT within an automatic system for detection and tracking of maneuvering targets. With focus on closely spaced targets, some related previously published proposals are discussed and refined. Results obtained by an automatic tracking system using PMHT are presented.
