Abstract :
It is a general cognition that, to cope with the climate change and realize a sustainable development, all countries should adjust their present energy structure and develop new energy industries, including wind power industry. Wind energy resources are extremely abundant in the city of Jiuquan. It is drawing more attention at home and abroad for being listed as China´s first 10 million kilowatts of wind power demonstration base and the main front of the strategic thought of “Construct Hexi Wind Power Corridor and Recreate Western Onshore Three-Gorge”. This article analyzes the present development situation and existing problems of 10 Million Kilowatts Wind Power Industry Base in Jiuquan, and puts forward countermeasures for future development. The study has important theoretical and practical guiding significance for healthy development of the wind power industry in Jiuquan and nationwide.
