Abstract :
A multidisciplinary rehabilitation engineering team has been formed at the University of New Hampshire. The role of the team is to work closely with the New Hampshire Department of Vocational Rehabilitation to develop cost-effective technological solutions that improve the productivity of identified clients. The authors provide an overview of the team´s organization and the problem-solving approach. Furthermore, a discussion of the types of client assessments that were performed and the nature of the various solutions that were utilized is presented.
