Abstract :
The recent trend in distributed power generation system is combination of one or more energy sources like solar and fuel cells also wind has been tied together. Attempt made in a double input dc-dc converter topology used to couple the energy sources using z-source converters. The z-network topology has its own unique features and capable of buck or boost operation depending on whether it is voltage or current fed drives. Analyze the various states of z-source dc-dc converter completed using computer simulation in Matlab/simulink Software. Simulated waveforms of resistive load voltage and currents and diodes currents are presented.
