Abstract :
E-commerce is an increasingly important channel for retailing commerce and business transactions. In order to solve the problems for lacking of both realistic for the goods presentation and the friendly interaction with user on the traditional E-commerce Websites, showing goods in a 3D circumstance and applying 3D retrieval tool are very useful in E-Commerce system. In this paper, we present X3D technique for 3D presentation and a 3D model retrieval tool into E-commerce website for a 3D E-commerce shopping framework. In this 3D E-commerce shopping framework, customers can retrieval interesting goods model and get 3D information of goods in a 3D showing subsystem based on X3D. The experiment results show that this 3D E-commerce shopping framework can achieves higher search accuracy than traditional E-Commerce framework based on text or image in some E-Commerce application.
