Abstract
Lithium Battery Management System (BMS) requires an accurate model. With the battery model, the status of the battery pack including the SOC, can be predicted. This paper presents the modeling of a 50 Ah lithium-ion battery cell which is used in a smart battery power system. The model has been validated at different SOC values, the experimental tests show that the battery cell model is able to simulate the real battery response with good accuracy in the range tested.
