Abstract :
The prototype system, designed to be suitable for a number of sonar transmitters, had two channels on a eurocard but recently a new version has been built using surface mounting and it has been possible to accommodate eight channels on each card. This board has also been interfaced to a PC which has allowed simple program development in Quick Basic. Examples of the wide range of possible waveforms are illustrated
