Abstract
The challenges of tomorrow require collaboration on a scale never seen before across industries and disciplines. We all have a stake in the future of mobility and making roads safer for everyone. Toyota´s Collaborative Safety Research Center is providing a “radical” approach to conducting multidisciplinary auto safety research by convening the best and brightest minds from a range of fields and ensuring the research is shared to help benefit everyone on the road. Research from more than 25 projects and over 15 institutions will be described and how industry, academia and government agencies are applying the results to intelligent vehicle development and testing.
