Abstract :
We study the output tracking of systems across switches in system parameters. The goal is to remove transient tracking errors during the switch. The parameter change (switch) is assumed to be periodic at known time instants. This is in contrast to systems where the switches may be signal driven and may not be known in advance. It is also assumed that preview information about the desired output is available. The paper presents a methodology to use the preview infermation to achieve online output-tracking across parameter switches for periodic switching systems
