Abstract :
This paper come as a proposal to achieve modification on the latest standard of mobile communications that is Long Term Evolution. The paper first studies the error control coding in the standard, which is based on the turbo code for high data rate and convolution code for low data rate. Following that, the paper adopted medical network channel code through the channel code of the fourth generation standard. The proposal is based on concatenated codes structure designed by adding extra channel code using convolution code to the fourth generation standard code. In order to transmit medical data in uplink channel by high level of reliability the concatenated structure are proposed. The enhancement of error probability performances have been proven and investigated using computer simulation under different noise channels such as Additive White Gaussian Noise and Rayleigh Fading. The paper has been optimized the Bit Error Rate for the proposal equal to the level of medical transmission requirement with lower signal to noise ratio as a comparison with the long term evolution error performance.
