MyPDL: a web-based personal digital library

In recent years we have witnessed a dramatic increase in the volume of electronic and digital information that has been produced and as a result we feel increasingly overwhelmed by the amount of digital information that needs to be managed. This paper describes a Web-based personal digital library system, myPDL, which was designed and developed to allow individual users to create, store, organize, and retrieve their own personal digital information collections.
