Abstract :
This work presents a study of local oscillator power and conversion loss for sub-harmonic quantum barrier mixers at millimeter wave frequencies. Several diodes from different layers have been fabricated and compared with an equivalent industrial anti-parallel Schottky diode in W-band sub-harmonic mixer circuits using various levels of LO power.
