Abstract
This paper develops the analytical techniques for the scattering problem of a conducting finite helix. We focus on the resonant behavior of the helix because near the resonance frequency, the effective Chirality parameter strongly depended on the wave performance. Also we develop the theory used for a moment method to solve for the currents on a helix antenna. We present an efficient analysis of a helix antenna by using a moment method. The electric field integral equation is used with the moment method to solve for the currents on the antenna. The triangle basis and pulse testing functions exactly follow the contour of the helix antenna.
