  • Abstract
A hybrid filter architecture is proposed for the compensation of harmonic, interharmonic and flicker disturbances. The filter is composed of two sections: active filter (VSI series voltage compensator fed by a capacitor DC source) and RLC tuned filters. The filter is shown to be effective even in a very critical case: a 6-pulse or 12-pulse cycloconverter synchronous motor drive fed by a very low short circuit power supply network
