Abstract :
Distillation column is the most common and very important unit in petro-chemical plant. This paper completes a 4-component and 119-plate ethene-ethane distillation column training simulator based on the microcomputers, realizes multi-component, multi-tray complex distillation process real-time simulation. In the paper, the hardware and the software of the SIS training simulator system were described. The simplified model of the column was also discussed. A real-time simulation method for simulating large, complex and long-time computation system was proposed. The training simulator finished in this paper included the basic operations, emergency procedures, startup, shutdown and other training courses of the distillation process. This paper reviews the functions, objectives and constitution of the simulator
