Abstract :
The particular problem addressed here is that the real-time digital adaptive control of uncertain dynamical process whose structure and parameters are not known exactly. On the basis of observed input-output pairs of measurements incorporating an output noise of stochastic nature, the process is on-line identified and modelled by a 2nd order lumped parameters representation with delay-time. The instrumental variables technique is employed as identifier for up-dating the parameters of such process and parameters optimized controller is utilized for its adaptive control. The on-line operation of this dynamical process is presented by simulating a realistic system using a notebook computer
