Abstract
An electron gun based on a carbon nanotube cold cathode is investigated. The experiment results show that when the inner and outer radius of cathode are 4.5mm and 6.5mm, a 4mA/10kV annular electron beam can be obtained. The area compression ratio of the electron beam is 10.
