Abstract :
This work introduces a new method for displaying cardiac activation maps. Instead of using pictorial representation of the heart surface, which is poor and limited, this method uses real 3-D images of the electrode array, previously recorded on a VCR camera and then digitized. The spread of the depolarization wave can be shown over these images, by means of a color-coded scheme or in a frame-by-frame animation. The method is suitable to work with several detection algorithms and electrodes arrays
