Abstract :
This paper introduces the design and construction of a PV module performance measurement facility to a specification emphasising simplicity, ease of trouble shooting and simple maintenance. A novel technique is a simple approach to the design and construction of the I-V characteristics and the performance of various connected PV systems depending on the series and parallel configurations of PV modules to match the optimality of the PV power system. Thus, this study shows clearly the influence of the data of single panels on the construction of the electric characteristics of various sets of identical PV panels. The optimum matching condition has been obtained both theoretically and experimentally. The calculated results have been verified experimentally the performance of full-scale PV modules. The determination of solar cell parameters from experimental data of the illuminated I-V characteristics using a two-exponentional equation is considered
