Abstract :
The Intelligence Community of the Highways Agency (HA) has an important strategic role to develop intelligence-led decision-making. This paper summarises our work making traffic data available to this community at finer spatial and temporal granularities across the network than was previously available. How we addressed the significant sensing challenges produced by changing from reporting journey time reliability at link instead of route level is covered in more depth.
