Abstract :
Wu and Jiang proposed a code for rewriting Write-Once Memories (WOM´s), and they called it position modulation code. In this paper, we propose an analogy of their code for non-binary WOM´s. We show that the proposed code asymptotically achieves the sum rate at least half of that achievable by the best possible code.
