  • Abstract
This paper demonstrates a process for planning technology strategy using Innovation Architecture, a technology road mapping (TRM) tool. TRM tools enable high-tech companies to discuss future plans and to acquire knowledge and capabilities necessary to find new technology-based solutions in uncertain markets in the mid-to-long term. To develop business over time, high-tech companies require new ecosystems. The authors selected a project theme of “dementia (cognitive impairment)” to find potential stakeholders, companies, or nonprofit organizations that could be social partners for such a company. To acquire knowledge and create new technology-based solutions from diverse viewpoints, the authors have been building a “future center,” which is a field of dialogue among potential stakeholders. The authors seek to establish relationships between potential stakeholders and technology requirements.
