Abstract :
Bio industry has special characteristics. First, the industry is a science-based industry in which research in scientific community is directly linked to industry. Second, the industry has borderline transgressive properties across many technological disciplines. Many technologies in the industry are incorporated from different fields, including information technology, mechanics and materials. However, products based on plural technologies do not easily diffuse in the industry due to their radical innovative features.
